Those schools, which opt for it, are seen as publicly acknowledging and upholding the value of high educational standards and the importance of peer review.
Students also benefit by enrolling in an accredited school because accreditation is more or less a guarantee of a balanced and a high quality learning experience. Moreover, art and design schools that do not have a valid accreditation do not offer as broad-based and integrated an education as their accredited counterparts.
